Well a couple of articles regarding the Canes in the news recently:
1) Scott Walker signs a 3-year deal with a no-trade clause. This is
absolutely fantastic for the Canes. Walker quickly became a fan-
favorite after displaying his grit, heart and desire on the ice every
****ft. (Plus he'll fight just about anyone in the league!)
2) Hedican says he is going to attempt to play this season.
Hopefully he'll be able to last a full season and won't have to retire
prematurely. That's also good news b/c the team doesn't have to go
out shopping for D and still leaves Babchuk on the trading block.
Hockey is still a few months away but at least it will be football
season soon!
