Svatos - good move. Hurt all of the time, but has shown he can
certainly put it into the net. Maybe someone will come along and
throw a big offer sheet in front of him.
Wolski - very good, obvious, necessary move. One of two really young
guns the Avs have.
McCormick - totally irrelevant. He's physical and almost nothing else
- can't skate, can't do anything with the puck, good fighter for his
size. AHL-type of player, who is quite easy to replace, and his
presence doesn't mean much of anything one way or the other. I
suspect Eric will now start 3 separate threads on the topic. :-)
McLeod - I like this one also. He's a dime-a-dozen 4th line guy, but
he's physical, tough, can score a few, and works hard. Good guy to
have on the team. Not critical, for sure, but he doesn't hurt the
team by playing on the 4th line.
No word on any in-house UFAs yet, though the local paper is saying the
Avs continue to negotiate with Theodore.
