OK UCLA is in the final 8 and on tv about 4:05pm on Saturday, and I
have Kings hockey tickets for Saturday at 7:30 pm. I'll be taking the
Red Line south to the Blue line and then off at Pico. Are there any
informal places along the way to catch a beer and the UCLA game? On a
map I see a Wil****re/Vermont stop as well as Westlake/MacAurthur, 7th
Street/Metro Center, Pico... heck I could even go past my stop to Grand
or San Pedro. I figure the skybox will be packed and it's small so I
wanted other options... I don't know the area at all being from the
West Valley. I don't need a crowd for cheering (in fact more empty
would be better) but I would like to see the game. An ElTorito, Yankee
Doodles, a microbrewery... a Hotel bar or Dennys with a tv :-)
Something I could walk to from a metro station.
If someone could tell me or point out a website I'd really appreciate
it.
