The Wild really dominated that first game of the series, especially
in the first and third periods.
It's good to see the Wild hitting the Av's hard and playing them
physical in their defensive zone. That Fedoruk goal was a nice
surprise, too.
Nummelin is doing a pretty solid job standing in for Schultz, IMO.
The Av's did a great job of taking Gaborik out of the game....but
I don't think they can continue that.
Backstrom played a solid game, and his stop of the penalty shot
was a thing of beauty.
The Wild should have won that game in overtime, and they had
their chances.
This is shaping up to be a long and intense six or seven game
series. Should be fun!
