Streit 5 yrs at $4 per (5 ****ing years? after one breakout season?!?)
Redden 6 yrs at $6.5 per (after proving beyond all doubt he aint worth
half
that in Ottawa)
Rolston 4 yrs at > $5 per (he's gonna be 39 at the end of the deal,
fer****sake!!!!!)
Commodore 5yrs at >$3.5 per (are you paying for the hair, you eejit
Bluejackets?!?!?)

To top it all, Hossa and Sundin apparently have offers in the 8 figures
per
year range.  One for a guy who got 66 points last year, and the other for
a
37 year old dude who aint sure he wants to play?

This is simply unbelievable.  It's like Monopoly money.  Aint these the
same
owners who were crying poor a few years ago?

I maintain my faith in Gainey, and hope he does not wade into these
ridiculous numbers for the big two.  Keep the 2 yr $14 mill offer out to
Sundin, and the 4-5 year offer out to Hossa at no more than $7.5 per, and
last one to sign loses.
