Bobby Hull's WHKA (The World Hockey Association) Releases News On
Expansion

WHKA Confirms Edmonton Area Franchise Added -- League Expansion in
Wa****ngton State Also Underway -- CEO Smith Comments on Legal Action

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/20/07 -- The World Hockey
Association (PINKSHEETS: WHKA) confirmed the planned Edmonton,
Alberta
area franchise has been sold to an Edmonton investment group. League
officials stated the new owners plan to announce a name and team logo
for the franchise shortly, and at a time which will be convenient to
its marketing efforts Further discussions are underway in the Alberta
Province with other investor groups planning franchises throughout
the
region.

League officials also completed a series of successful meetings in
Seattle, Wa****ngton this weekend which addressed expansion plans with
US investor groups for new teams in the Wa****ngton State area. The
WHA
had previously stated league expansion plans will ultimately increase
the number of hockey franchises operating under the WHA umbrella from
six to sixteen teams.

WHKA CEO, Ricky Smith stated, "We will be reformatting our divisional
structure as a result of all the new teams coming into our league.
The
face of the WHA will look quite different for the 2007-2008 seasons.
We survived some difficult problems during our first season. We feel
these problems were the primary result of lack of good faith and even
fraud from those responsible for former finance arrangements for the
league. We do not anticipate we will have these same problems again.
Good things are happening very fast and we are planning to start our
new season with a bang."

Smith also added, "WHKA shareholders, and hockey fans alike should be
pleasantly surprised with the level of hockey they see in our league
next year. We made great strides during the 2006-2007 season and we
expect the momentum generated from our successes will continue to
improve the level of play coming from our young men. We think we have
some of the best coaching available in Jr. Hockey and League
Commissioner Bobby Hull and I do not anticipate this will change with
the expansion. "

When asked about the currently hot topic of legal proceedings with
Global Developments, Inc, Smith retorted, "WHA's attorney began what
will become a large series of responses last Friday night. We are now
engaged with these people in the courts and expect to be able to
comment any day now on the claims we will be making not only against
Global Developments, Inc., but against all the parties involved in
this sham against our league and our company. When it is all over, we
expect the courts will award full and all remedies requested. The
evidence collected by our investigators is so mind boggling; we think
winning this case will be a stroll in the park. Of course, it will be
in the hands of the courts, but when our shareholders see what kind
of
evidence, we have of wrongdoing; we think they will surely agree."

In further developments, the WHA expects to soon announce details of
scheduled National Alliance Cup play slated to begin on April 1st in
Toronto, Ontario. In the National Alliance Cup, the Champions of The
WHA, "The New Westminster Whalers" will be paying a series of games
against the champion of the GMHL. The coach of the WHA Champion New
Westminster Whalers is former NHL St. Louis Blues great, Gary Unger.

About the World Hockey Association:

the WHA firmly established in British Columbia, Alberta and the
Northwestern United States.
